Utah leads series 49-29-4
Last meeting: 2006 (TDS 33, Utah 31)
What to expect when Utah has the ball: Everything and anything. Andy Ludwig will open up the playbook and that might include some trick plays as well. However, the Utes won't shy away from the running game, especially if it works for them early.
What to expect when TDS has the ball: A lot of passes to the tight ends and Harvey Unga. Robert Anae likes to open up the offense that way and I don't expect that to change against the Utes. They probably won't air it out, but if the opportunity arises, they will.
How Utah wins: Don't get burned on the tight end passes and find an offensive flow. It's also important Utah convert on turnovers. If they do that, they could win easily. Hopefully it happens and here's to a victory celebration Saturday night!
The leprechaun is back for the biggest regular season game of them all. Bring us home, Lucky!
8-0 I be, after a Saturday afternoon victory.

Arrgghh
A) we didn't really "deserve" to win this one. We didn't play well. And
B) we can legitimately lay part of the blame on the referees. There are many words that can be used to describe those two calls that went against us on BYU's final scoring drive. The Salt Lake media (minus KSL, of course, who I doubt will even mention the penalties) will use the word "controversial." The words they should use are "egregious" and "bullshit."

Damn...
But you're right, had Utah won, it would have been a victory given to them by the BYU mistakes. This was an ugly game for both teams, but clearly BYU played an all around better game. That's just how it is, and I'll live with it.
As for the refs, it was three bullshit calls that played a role in what could have been game defining. However, it wasn't the entire story, as BYU still would've had good field position and most likely would have hit a FG anyway.
Damnit, now we have to hear dumbass Zoobs talk about how open Collie is now.
