Local TV stations reporting that Rick Majerus is close to signing a deal to coach the St. Louis Billikens. No word what the deal is worth or for how long, but it's an interesting choice for Rick, who hasn't coached since leaving Utah in 2004.

Personally, I'll wish him the best, but I've got to wonder if he can do it because of his health. If you can believe it, Rick looks to be in worse shape than he was with Utah in 2004 and the daily grind of coaching a basketball team might be too much for him. Of course, maybe he is healthy enough and he can take St. Louis to new heights.

It'll be interesting to keep an eye on and we should know in the coming days whether he's serious about the job or not.
