Shocking news out of North Carolina. Wake Forest men's basketball coach Skip Prosser collapsed today and died after jogging on campus. He was only 56 years old.
Prosser spent six seasons at Wake Forest, guiding the Demon Deacons to a 126-68 record, including a Sweet 16 berth in 2004. Prior to his stint at Wake Forest, he was the head coach of Xavier, going 148-65. His best season with Xavier came in 1997, when they reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Wake Forest community and of course Prosser's family.
