Utah Just Took Our Quarterback Commit Jordan Wynn
Jordan Wynn is going to be a good player. He will probably win the San Diego City Championship two years in a row. Has to put some weight on but he is committed to doing that. Here is an interview we did with him. Has a good arm and the kid is a winner. Stop winning Utah, it will kill our recruiting! Congrats on the good year so far and give the Cougs hell.

Thanks!
This is a good get for Utah. It’s always good to win battles over BCS teams, especially regional rivals (at least semi-regional rivals).
I’m going to FP this post for other Ute fans can see it. Any reason why he decided to leave CU?

He saw that the Buffs had a bunch of QB's
and saw that Utah had a senior quarterback. Mostly he saw that CU’s offense is putrid and Utah is top ranked team with talent and was going somewhere. The Buffs also have a 6’5" 225 lb Qb coming in that would fit our spread attack a little better. He made the right choice for him to play early. Correct me if I am wrong but I think the QB battle is pretty wide open once Johnson leaves? I know you didn’t get a QB commit last year. How is Louks?

We had a QB commit last year also.
Utah tries to get 1 QB every year in its recruiting class for obvious reasons. Last year we recruited Devonte Christopher, the Las Vegas player of the year. Louks is really fast and in the San Diego game he had some good throws in garbage time. Louks need more reps in the passing game to become a starter since his throws are sometimes shaky. Other than that I think our QB battle is wide open next year, but I don’t see the staff going with a true freshmen.

Nice Commit...
for the Utes. I still see Louks as the starter next year, but this kid can red-shirt and put on some lbs. while getting to know the system.
Sounds like he will be challenging for playing time in the near future.
