What to expect when Utah has the ball: It's not going to be an easy time for Utah on offense. TCU will have the toughest defense the Utes face this season, but I expect them to ground it out, eat the clock and hopefully not be forced into 3rd and long.
What to expect when TCU has the ball:TCU will most likely keep the ball on the ground, as they rank 12th in the nation in rushing yards per game. However, they are capable of airing it out and Andy Dalton is a threat.
How Utah wins: The offense has to minimize mistakes, create a short field and produce just enough offense to win. This most certainly will be a low scoring game, which means every play counts and if Utah can control the field position, defend against the run and they do not give up the big plays on 3rd downs, they should be in good position to win.
Lucky will be gettin' down this Thursday!

Let the whiskey flow when the Utes be 10 and 0!

Go Utes!
Man, 13-0 would be nice. I won’t be disappointed with 11-2, but I’d hate to lose to BYU again.
Personally, I think if we lose this game we still beat BYU in two weeks and then we’ll be lined up against some crappy PAC 10 team in the bowl game, who we’ll proceed to blow out. That’s either 12-1 with a loss to TCU or 12-1 with a loss to a great BCS team, or 13-0 if we get to play the ACC champ or the Big East Champ. i’d be very nervous against any of the top 5 big 12 teams, or the top 3 SEC teams (although i think we’d have a shot against Alabama, Florida and Georgia scare the crap out of me), or USC (Oregon State win notwithstanding).
Anyway, on D if we can force Dalton into making tough decisions I expect RoJo, Sly and McCain to have big days. If we can’t get pressure then we’re going to get picked apart little by little.
On Offense we just need to avoid turning the ball over. If we avoid any turnovers (including blocked punts/kicks or muffed punt returns) then Louie/Vroman will win the game for us with field position and field goals.

Passing game
Guys, can’t let louie pin them inside the 20 and then give up a 50+ yard passing play. Let’s get it together.
