Wow, TCU gets jobbed, PI gives Boise State an automatic first down.

Even though Moore was flushed out of the pocket and threw up a bad pass that was pretty uncatchable. Pathetic call.

Ive heard

about some NFL potential on TCU’s D – did they single out anyone

by Graham Filler on Dec 23, 2008 6:11 PM MST reply actions

and is boise using that mini RB who looks like hes 165 lbs soakin wet

TCU's defense is getting the Moore (BSU's QB) pretty well.

I missed the first play of the game, but I don’t think their QB has connected on much (the only successful play was a PI).

no - I think Ive got TCU by 7

in the Obligatory Picks Competition on our site

lord

well they are undefeated..

by Graham Filler on Dec 23, 2008 6:24 PM MST reply actions

Yeah, so was I.

I thought TCU’s defense was really good.

Maybe BSU is just a really good team. Kind of pisses me off the Utes struggled against this defense. Boise State is ripping ’em.

I think TCU needs to move the ball on this drive or it could be over.

If they get another three and out, it’s going to be a ugly game.

Frogs running game is blowing through Boise State's line.

I didn’t understand the pass first offense being ran out of the gate.

Do you all have any geographical rivalry with Boise?

pardon if that’s an ignernt question….

by jtothep on Dec 23, 2008 8:45 PM MST up reply actions

Not really, except when we're fighting for BCS berths.

Like in 2004 and 2008, where Utah won out. I don’t like ’em, tho.

got that much

but fanbases colliding? not really?

by jtothep on Dec 23, 2008 8:47 PM MST up reply actions

Pretty much.

There isn’t much recruiting wars and since we’re not in the same conference, the rivalry is minimal.

by JazzyUte on Dec 23, 2008 8:48 PM MST up reply actions

gotcha

that was about all I knew before coming in….

You guys both recruit same player types / territories?

by jtothep on Dec 23, 2008 8:52 PM MST up reply actions

With BYU? Yeah, especially local talent.

Though Utah is now recruiting Texas and California for speed, while BYU seems to be content with recruiting big, slow players.

by JazzyUte on Dec 23, 2008 8:57 PM MST up reply actions

That's a weird phenomenon, isn't it?

We had a wicked thread going one thursday night when Or State had USC on the ropes…..

There it is!

finally pressure comes in

Ok, so now TCU can end it with a long drive here.

With how poorly BSU’s defense is playing, I can see them running the clock down.

by JazzyUte on Dec 23, 2008 8:56 PM MST reply actions

true

a couple 6-8 yard runs.

Speaking of...

How you like your prospects?

I honestly don't know. I think Utah keeps it close, though.

If I were a betting man, I think you’d have to bet on Alabama, but it’s a good match-up because Bama doesn’t have an explosive offense, so it should keep Utah in the game. If that happens, one or two plays, with no turnovers, could change the outcome in Utah’s favor.

Ok, degrees of stupidity?

that’s the fourth interception drop I’ve seen, and I’ve only watched teh second half

wow, did you hear his stat line?

11 tackles, 9 solo, 3 for loss, and that game clinching interception!

Alright, fellas (or gals)

Thanks for having me. Wifey’s calling, and bedtime is nigh.

Good luck in the Sugar Bowl! Hey, wait, are either of you going?

Do they have to run it?

Can’t they knee the ball and run the clock out?

by UtesFan89 on Dec 23, 2008 9:13 PM MST reply actions

That was fun!

So now onto the Sugar Bowl.

Utah now has a chance to be the lone undefeated.
