Utah football gets a new look

Utah will have a new look for the 2008 football season, as the program has inked a deal with UnderArmour, replacing the old Nike uniforms. The Deseret News also reports about the possibility of a alternate black jersey, but nothing has been released on that uniform yet.

UnderArmour is also affiliated with Hawaii, Texas Tech, Auburn, South Carolina and Maryland.

What are your thoughts on the new uniforms? I like them, at least compared to what the team had the past few years. Of course, the uniform is only secondary to the results on the field and if they're winning, they could play in trash bags for all I care.

I like 'em

I think they look pretty cool. I just hope they don't do the white pants with the red jersey like they have shown. Other than that, I really like them. I'm also really interested in the black uniform, that could look pretty cool.

Brings Back Memories!

When I played in the late 60's our uniforms were we had white with red and red with white. We also had 2 helmets to wear. Under Armour is a great company to be affiliated with. The kids of today all wear some sort of UnderArmour when they play any high school sport in Virginia. Very Hip and and cutting edge. I know I will buy some gear to wear in Virginia. A good choice.
