Phil Steele ranks Utah 14th in preseason poll

Here's a shocker, Phil Steele has Utah coming in at 14th in their preseason poll. Last week I reported on Block U about the possibility of being ranked, but when his list began taking shape, it looked less and less likely it would happen, until today. I said it in that post and I'll say it again, I respect Phil Steele immensely and hope this is one prediction that comes true.

I believe, though I could be wrong. Steele is the first preseason publication to list Utah as a preseason top-25 team. Hopefully more do the same, but more importantly, hopefully the Utes retain that ranking -- and an even better one -- at the end of the season.
