PrintIn 2007, a college football team was sent to San Diego for a bowl game they didn't really want to play in.
These men promptly escaped from the Poinsettia Bowl with a 35-32 victory and then to the college football underground. Today, still wanted, they survive as soldiers of fortune and can be seen on television screens this August.
They are the funky U-Team heroes, a new breed of gridiron soldiers.
Fighting bad guys one Saturday at a time!
