The AP Top 25 isn't due out until later this month, however, it doesn't stop media members from publishing their preseason top-25 and that's exactly what Kris Bohls of the Austin American-Statesman did. Bohls ranks Utah 20th in his ballot, while BYU comes in at 18th.

It's unlikely Utah will crack the preseason AP Top 25, but there is no reason not to expect a ranking similar to the Coaches Poll, which was released last week and had Utah 28th nationally.
