Just got back from practice, here are some notes: (9/1)

-Kenape Eliapo is out 6-8 weeks with a foot injury

-Robert Johnson did not practice due to a left hamstring injury which happened when he intercepted a 1st qtr pass which was later taken away. Johnson says he's day to day, but I talked to a source who told me he is doubtful for UNLV.

-Zane Beadles is day to day and questionable for UNLV with a knee injury.

-Don't look for a letdown vs. UNLV: Whitt was pumping James Brown's "The Big Payback" thru the speakers indoors today and the quotes from RB Frank Summers and UNLV coach Sanford about the Utes quitting and not playing hard last year were pasted up around the lockeroom according to Brant Casteel.
