Weber State game
It wasn’t the most convincing, no. But WSU doesn’t exactly roll over and play dead against D-I teams (they led Hawaii at the half before someone in Hawaii woke up and realized their team probably has more talent). Also, 14 of the Wildcats points came against the 2nd-team D. Not desirable, but the first team D did fine.
As for the offense… as you said, no one is perfect. But we’ve got a strong passing attack, and a strong running game with a 2-headed monster in Asiata & Mack (plus BJ, Louks, Wide & Stowers).
I wonder if people just saw WSU on the schedule and decided not to go (or if they were doing something else for Homecoming… maybe for that reason). Not so much “this team isn’t perfect, so I’m not going”, but more “it’s a win, I’ll go next time”. Stupid reasoning, but who knows.
The Utah Jazz. The Jazz... duh.
The best NBA team in Utah... no doubts about it!
Playing For Pride. Pirates, Utes, Panthers, and more...
Because, in the end, only one team can "win it all".
Maybe we bocotted to FCS scheduling
I was going to NOT watch the game, but did not have that option as it was not televised anywhere.
Utah has schedule 3 FCS teams in the last 20 years. This is not too bad. We don’t have any scheduled through 2014, but three dates still need to be filled. A tribute game to a former coach gives this game an asterick.
I have a hard time looking at the stats and not thinking Utah did not look past Weber State a little.
They have their hands full tomorrow night.
