Coach Roderick on his way to Washington?

UPDATE: Lya reporting (thanks, Displaced) Roderick has visited Washington, but has not made the decision. I still believe this means he was not offered the OC position.

Washington's Scout site is reporting that Utah wide receivers coach Aaron Roderick will leave the Utes for the same position at the University of Utah. Roderick was supposedly a leading candidate to become the next offensive coordinator here at Utah after Andy Ludwig left for Kansas State, but this probably means he was informed he wouldn't get the job.

It's a big loss, especially since I thought Roderick was one of our better offensive coaches, but if he was holding out for the coordinator postion and was informed he wasn't getting it, then maybe it means Whittingham will bring in a more experience coach.

Or we can hope, anyway.
