The real champs, Utah Utes!

Its’ awesome, awesome, awesome. I couldn’t believe it. It couldn’t be better than this. I used to love ’04 team, but I will have to switch to this team as my favorite team in my life. How come the only and one undefeated team in the nation is not #1? We are the champs no matter what the result is in the damn bcsng! Go utes!!!

You guys need to start arguing for a playoff now. Like before Monday. Believe it or not, you have an ally at the University of Florida. Your former president is our president, Bernie Machen, and he proposed a playoff after the 2006 season. The Georgia president jumped on the bandwagon last year. You can probably get USC and Texas if they destroy Ohio State. Oh, and the President-elect of the United States is on board too. Get Sen. Hatch to write the bill and we have some bipartisanship.

Carrol is already on board, even if the president isn't.

So’s Paterno and Urban.

What a great game...

no one can deny us the respect we deserve now. I’m going to enjoy listening to many a TV/radio pundit eating their words in the next week or so.

GO UTES!

Way to f'ing go, Utah!!!

I can’t tell you guys how great it was to see someone man up and show that OMG ESS EEE SEE MOUNTAIN WEST CONFERENCE SPEEEEEED and what it can do. Great win and I wish you all the best. My beloved Lions fell to USC in their backyard but you guys sacked up and got ’Bama in the Sugar. Unbelievable. You guys deserved a shot at the title.

I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member

After a season

of screaming by lungs out at the home games I lost my voice yelling at my T.V. So happy for this group of players. Thank you to Coach Whit and the crew. Good luck to Ludwig and K-State. I am off to BCS.Com to buy my copy of the game! I am a Utah man sir and I live across the green…..

As a Ute fan we are required to hate BYU, I hate Wyoming because I want to. I stole that I admit it.

Congratulations, Utes

Congrats from the USC Trojans.

It was great watching you guys stick it to Saban and the SEC. That was definitely a win for the good guys. And maybe, the SEC will pipe down about being the epicenter of college football. The way I look at it, there will be four teams (UF/OU, Texas, USC and Utah) that can lay claim to being the best, but Utah is the only one that doesn’t have to make excuses.

Congrats again, and come join the Pac-10.

Fight On!

WE"RE NUMBER 1!!!!!

We played four ranked opponents and beat them all.

We started the season with a win at Michigan and ended it with a win in the BCS against a team that had been ranked #1 for five weeks.

(And by the way, who’s to say Michigan wouldn’t have been a decent team if we hadn’t gut-stomped it in the first game?)

We’re the only undefeated team in D1.

WE ARE # 1 ! ! ! !

Congrats to you Utes!

Congratulations from Tennessee.

I co-blog over at the Vols’ SBNation site, Rocky Top Talk, but I got my undergrad from Wyoming and I pull for the MWC (which was in the final years of pre-bloat WAC in my time) whenever I can. I couldn’t have been any happier about the outcome of the game.

I wouldn’t worry about the final ranking. No matter how voters and stick-in-the-mud pundits may try to spin things, nobody can take away the fact that your Utes had the best season of football in the NCAA of any team. Undefeated against a very respectable schedule and a huge bowl win against a very, very talented and disciplined team is fact; polls are opinion. If people can’t accept the idea that a non-BCS team can get it done, that’s their problem.

Again, congrats.
