What they're saying...

Here is a quick list of articles mentioning Utah's victory over Alabama and their chance at the national championship.

Undefeated Utah deserves this vote for No. 1 - David Climer, The Tennessean

In one poll, Utah stands tall - Josh Peter, Yahoo! Sports

Utah out of sight, out of mind - Dan Wetzel, Yahoo! Sports

Utah worthy of No. 1 - Tom Keegan, Lawrence Journal-World

Utah, not Gators or Sooners, should be number one  - Mike Bianchi, Orlando Sentinel

It might not be enough to actually garner the Utes a split national championship, but at least our argument is being heard.

Now hopefully it opens doors for future non-BCS teams, including Utah.

Love it!

The AP voters, who broke from the BCS a few years ago, should unite and vote Utah #1. Because Utah deserves it AND just to stick it to the BCS. The fact people outside of Utah fans are even discussing the idea that Utah should be the national champion is incredible. Was there anyone prior to Friday night that even thought that a remote possibility? I know I didn’t. What a great and incredible season. Way to go Utes!!

My plea to AP voters: http://cougsandutes.blogspot.com/2009/01/stick-it-to-bcs-vote-utes-1.html

Sorry for any conflict of interest...

I post and blog at Fanblogs.com and apologize for any perceived improprieties here.

I abstained from the internet for a couple of days to let the game soak in and found This

upon my return.

USC fans, SEC fans, ACC fans, even a few Big 12 fans, all supporting Utah’s case.

My take on the game, and defense, case by case, against all 4 contenders

is here. Lots of congrats to your team. Only one voice stating he doesn’t think the AP voters have the audacity. Not one reason why it should not happen.

If Florida beats Oklahoma a split title is very likely. A Texas loss to Ohio State tonight would help.

Let me know how that goes, I am boycotting the Fiesta Bowl this year because they took Ohio State over the higher ranked Boise State.
