The Morning Blitz: Daily Utah links - game day edition

Since it doesn't look like the weather will cooperate, I'm not quite sure what to expect today. I'm guessing it's going to be sloppy conditions, which means a more run-oriented game by both teams. For the Utes, that's a big question mark, since they've lost their leading rusher (Matt Asiata) for the season. However, the Colorado State Rams may face a bigger concern because their offense has been heavily influenced by the pass this season.

The Utes' run defense, though, has been shaky to say the least and CSU is toward the top in the conference in that regard. So this game could come down to turnovers - depending on how bad the snow gets.

both utah and tcu games will have bad weather to contend with.

tcu game will have worse condition’s. i like gary patterson attitude about his team. when they win they color a piece of the pyramid purple. i just hope that all twelve pieces are colored in at the end of the season.

I'd go with 12-1. ;)

Of course, that lone loss coming to Utah.

of course you want tcu to demolish byu?

byu’s blog think they still have a chance at a bcs bowl. news flash: their lopsided loss to fsu looks even worse now. boston college beat fsu. va tech just put the smackdown on b.c. utah and tcu will beat byu. byu has an easy victory today at unlv. then another weak tema from mwc. i hope they rise in the rankings by four spots before tcu comes to town. i want tcu to get the power points from byu’s 13-15 th ranking. auburn is going down as we speak.

I guess BYU has a shot...

If Boise State somehow loses this season. But that isn’t going to happen.

The Cougars also aren’t going to finish 11-1.

They have too many deficiencies on the defensive side and Max Hall’s arm will certainly cost them against either Utah or TCU. But let ’em dream!

you know what they say, great minds think alike

i just wrote recently max hall’s tendency to throw 2 interception’s a game will cost them the tcu and utah game.
