BCS Rankings 11/1/09

Shortcut to a complete bcs rankings, utes up to 14! Once again the utes hold a better standing with the computers than the humans but this isn't really a surprise considering that utah's only loss to oregon by a touchdown is looking better by the week, but the very same could be said about the bsu broncos, honestly though i'm not sure that boise would come out on top again if they played oregon now, but its all speculation unless you play the game..

I was surprised to see them at 14th. I thought they'd get as high as only 15th.

A win Saturday and a few losses might push them even higher – though UNM is horrible and will hurt their SOS by a lot.

Imagine had we won in Oregon

We’d be pushed into the top ten easy. If we win out we have to hope for lots of teams ahead of us to have two losses or lose late to allow us into a BCS bowl. With a 10-2 record will got to the Bob’s Carwash bowl in Poughkeepse.

haha I would prefer the las vegas bowl so I could see the utes in a bowl in person for the first time since the emerald bowl!

If we won at Oregon we would be ahead of TCU right now.

We might have been ahead of Cincinnati at #5.

Computers

The computers love the utes! but i’m afraid we can’t possibly gain any ground by beating unm who lost to nmsu who just got flummoxed by ohio state, total yards in that game were beyond ugly, hopefully the utes just wax new mexico and take advantage of their down year.
