Utes lasso Cowboys

Yay for fun puns!

The Utes did something no road team has been able to do this season, leave Laramie with a road win. Their 80-70 victory over Wyoming keeps Utah in first place and slowly inches them closer to that coveted at-large bid to the Big Dance.

This was a big win against an upset prone Cowboys team and thankfully, even though Utah played sloppy in the first half, the Utes left with a victory. Now comes the big first place showdown with San Diego State Wednesday. A victory there places the Utes firmly in the conference driver's seat, but I'll have more on that game later.

For now and until I update the game recap tomorrow (probably), here's to being 7-2 in Mountain West play (and matching last year's conference win total). Go Utes!

Don't worry

You stop that giant man-oaf Nevill and you stop Utah. We were able to do it last time and we’ll do it again! :X

Looks like Wednesday could decide the championship!

Awesome! I’m excited to actually have a meaningful February game.
