Fall camp day 9 links

Jordan Wynn's getting the nod over Corbin Louks and Terrance Cain dominated the news, but I think as we move further from this, it's being accepted as the right decision by most.

Beyond that, though, it looks like the coaches may be prepping for Louks to play a defensive role. If he stays and switches sides, it could benefit the team in the long run. But right now, I'm not sure even Louks knows if he's staying or going.

Did one of those commentators say Baylor was a mid-major?

OH MY GOODNESS. I realize Michigan is about equally “west” as Texas, but that is east coast bias if I’ve ever seen it. Question for Alex Baumgardner: HOW IS BAYLOR A MID MAJOR!?!?!?!?

I know what you mean but . . .

Baylor is smaller than Utah: fewer undergraduate students and is a weaker research institution.

It has less basketball history: fewer NCAA tournament appearances, Final Fours, and Fewer NIT appearances.

It has less football history: fewer all-time wins and fewer bowl victories. They have finished ranked in the Top 10 once. It has most definitely been worse during the BCS era.

So the question for me is, why is Utah a “mid-major” ?

But since the article is about who the BCS buster will be, I know what you mean.

Oh, I'll agree that Baylor sucks.

But, in what world is Baylor a “bcs buster”? Win the big 12 (which they’ll never do) and they’re in.
