Fall camp day 14 links

The big news out of camp yesterday was Koa Misi's back injury. Though we won't know until later today how serious it was, from what I've read, it didn't look that bad.

I think that article about Louks...

was a little harsh. Who knows if he’s a D1 QB or not. Only time will tell. I don’t think you can say for sure that he isn’t. I believe he could go onto Nevada and have a very good last couple years there against WAC competition. To say “he’s nothing close to one” is a joke.

For every Smith, Kruger, et al. who has switched position there are 9 or 10 guys who have done the same and not been successful. Yes, Louks has an ego, most of these kids do. He wanted to play QB, so what. I wish him the best.

I agree.

It was harsh. Really harsh.

I don’t fault Louks. Wish he would have stayed. Kind of bitter it looks like he’s going to switch to safety at Nevada, but that’s the way the game works.

Agreed

Johnson said when Louks came in he could throw, but he was used sparingly and only to run: in the last two years he hasn’t had the work Cain and Wynn have under center, even though they were at lesser levels.

The Oregon guys asked me what I thought of him prior to all this, I said I thought he possessed the tools but a benching might unhinge him.

He was fun to have and I appreciate everything he did for us.

Best of luck Corbin, knock them dead and have fun, thanks for what you contributed to our team.
