The Morning Blitz: Daily Utah links

Tomorrow marks a week until the season starts! I'm ready, are you?

Honestly, it took me a bit to get into it. I think much of it had to do with the fact I wasn't sold on Corbin Louks and felt things were a bit more unsettled than they currently are. Since Louks has left and it looks like Terrance Cain just might get the nod, I feel far more optimistic and excited about the prospects.

Question: Who do you see as the surprise Mountain West team this year? I mean, a program similar to Colorado State last year and Air Force the year before. Will the Aztecs make a bowl game? How about UNLV?

UNLV seems to be the safe choice, but I don't think Mike Sanford is a good coach, so I'm going with San Diego State with a 6-6 record.

They'll be this year's Colorado State.
