A sneak peek at Utah's Wounded Warrior uniforms

PrintThis was posted on the Utah athletic's Facebook page. Ignore the ACC logo, since obviously this is just a copy of what the uniform will look like and not the actual uniform itself.
Utah will use these uniforms for their home game against TCU, which will be considered a blackout.
Thoughts?

can tcu wear those helmets with the red line thru the middle when they play us and there special uniforms.
or is the red line helmet their standard helmet now?

Don't Care for them...
But the blackout is going to be awesome anyway. I would prefer a pure black-red configuration, but it doesn’t really matter.
Utah comes back from a 14-0 1st quarter to win 31-30. It’s gonna be a nail-biter. I will lose at least 3 years of my life at the game.
I don't pour beer on Max Hall's family often, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis.

I have known about these for some time because I am a designer of Utah apparel through an officially licensed clothing company but they were top secret at the time… any way we have designed several t-shirts with the digital camo theme to go along with these jerseys and they turned out very nice! I think people will like them!

That is amazing
But the Camo honor crap is so hideous, I bet the players think it’s the biggest joke.

To get the one NC Ute posted you just need to get an extra camo jersey and paint all the camo white. That’s what he did, anyway.

I have to say with the unis in general
I wish we’d incorporate more black. Especially if we end up in the south portion of a north/south alignment with all those red colored unis. Some of you will definately decry this as blasphemy, but I’d like it if we went with black pants for both road and home unis. All red is just painful to look at, almost as bad as Texas’ all whites. Red pants with white jerseys is ok, but the red/reds I hate, they have no contrast! Come on Utah designers, you know better than that! And what better timing for a change with the unis, we’re joining the dark side (BCS) afterall. Let’sembrace the dark side!
I think black pants are a solid idea.
Black pants with a normal crimson stripe for both home and away games would work. I’d also like to see them simplify the unis. Keep the shoulder stripe/slash and get rid of the leg swoop-thing and all the other meaningless points and slashes and shit. I’d like to see Utah create a simple, yet distinctive uni that becomes tradition. I’m a little tired of seeing a new, flavor-of-the-moment uniform every 3 years.

Camo
I agree that the white looks really sharp. I’m pretty sure the camo is in there because Utah and three other teams (from across the country) are going to be auctioning these jerseys off following the game. The proceeds from that auction will go towards some military charity. I swear I read the article on ESPN, but now I can’t find it.
