This bozo not only thinks that the Utes will lose to TCU on Saturday, he thinks that the best matchup the Maaco Bowl (aka Las Vegas Bowl) can drum up for the Utes is --- drum roll please --- 

Western Michigan????

You gotta be freakin' kidding me? If this were to come about I'd puke. How's this for respect? Western Friggin' Michigan?  I know that I now sound like some SEC snob when they announced that Alabama's opponent in '08 was going to be the Utes - what the hell is a Ute?  Even so - Western Michigan?

Fortunately we hold our own future in our hands this Saturday.

UPDATE:

And now that Saturday has come and gone - and I've stopped throwing things at my television - the best we can hope for is the Maaco Bowl and playing against one of our future conference mates. But if we played that bowl game like we played today, maybe Western Michigan would be a game.

Sorry, I'm sooooo down tonight it's gonna take a couple of days to get my head back on straight - very much the way it was after the Phillies got the boot by the Giants.
