Utes officially accept bid to the Las Vegas Bowl
Utah is officially going to the Las Vegas Bowl. It marks their first appearance there since defeating USC in 2001.
Their opponent, however, is unknown at this time. It's believed to be between Nevada or Boise State - though Temple and Ohio have also been rumored as potential opponents.

I’ve got my fingers crossed for Nevada. Utah would match-up better with them. They handle the run much better. Kellen Moore would pick apart the Utes’ secondary.
Temple/Ohio
is what people are projecting. I’d take on Nevada over those two in a heartbeat.
Check the link I posted in the FanShots area...
Most of what I’m seeing is Nevada or Boise State…with BSU looking like favorite :-s
Not that I think we can beat Nevada…but I like our chances a lot better with them. Hey, at least the match-up will be interesting, even if our streak will be in major jeopardy.
F the tater zoobs.....bring 'em on. Wynn and the O always do well in the bowl games.
"Well ain't this place a geographical oddity! Two weeks from everywhere!"
Today was the first time I read about Nevada or BSU as our opponent
And I am both excited and terrified — the exact emotional combination I want preceding the bowl game.

Bowl win streak
As much as I would like to see the bowl win streak extended with a win over a team like temple or ohio, I would rather Utah battle a good Nevada team, even if our chances of winning is a lot smaller. But I think Boise would smash us. yikes.
THANK YOU UTEP
UTEP is going to try to accept the New Meixco bid against BYU freeing Boise and Nevada. There’s alot of pros and cons for both the Kraft and LV bowl. Basically the Kraft bowl gets to choose first and what team they dont choose plays you guys.
Boise wants another quality win and Nevada wants another AQ win mounted on their wall.
So i say Nevada in Kraft vs ACC and Boise vs Utah.
But its the Mac'n'Cheese Bowl's choice....
.. not what the teams want right?
Red lines, sharp nails
There's no pain but cleartrails
Ohio...
Ohio’s signature win is their loss to OSU. I’d rather get beat by BSU than hand it to a team with 6 wins over ESPN bottom 10 teams, 1 win over an FCS team, and a win over Temple.
Have fun man
