The future is today!

Today is signing day! The future of every football program across this great diverse nation of ours will be held hostage by a bunch of high school kids and, knock on wood, decent fax machines.

These are the moments that make or break a coaching staff. You don't bring in the recruits, you're not going to win and if you don't win...well I don't need to finish that one for you.

So, as it is every year, the top recruits will fax in their letters of intent and all will be right with the world. Because these kids haven't played a down of football at the college level! That means the sky is the limit or something.

For Utah, it's a chance to cash in all those chips from the Sugar Bowl run a year ago and last season's 10-3 season.

Tomorrow I'll post updates on the players who have signed and if you want true up-to-date news, check out the awesome Utezone. Which will be following Utah's signees all day.

Let the games begin!

I expect us to go 2-for-4 on the "big four".

And we might as well get pumped about the possibility of Benji Kemoeatu making the correct decision two years too late, along with a SUPER DELUXE MYSTERY RECRUIT.

Bad news:

Josh Huff (four star RB) is going to Oregon instead of Utah

Huff decommitted from Utah about a month ago.

Utah was his first commitment, then he was a Minnesota commitment for about 6 days, then he’s been a TCU commitment for the past month but everyone knew Oregon was making a late push (although they want him at WR, not RB).

Everyone hates a pink-shirt-wearing communist.

Damn.

I know it’s late but I just found out Ricky Heimuli is Oregon bound too……can’t win em all I guess.

looks like you were right Boylen: two out of four

I’m kinda mad Oregon took some of the good ones late but hey, it’s the Pac-10. Plus Oregon really has a chance to make something big happen if they continue to win next year.
