Boylen earns fourth year for post-game media smackdown

Now just start winning and I'll love him even more.

Gordon Monson is a joke..

Even though I agree with the point Monson was trying to make (the Utes are a disaster) I get sick of him trying to play himself off as an unbiased reporter when he is clearly a Y homer.

Meh...

I don’t think he’s a Y homer or a U homer. I think he just likes to stir the pot.

I also agree with the questions he was asking I would have liked to of heard a real answer from Boylen in regards to it. However it was also funny as shit to see Boylen blast him like that. Monson isn’t a tool, he just chooses to act that way most of the time.

I think it's a dumb question.

Because how does he expect Boylen to answer?

It’s like when a girl asks if these jeans make her ass look big.

There isn’t an answer that can’t be a lie. Boylen isn’t going to throw his whole scheme under the bus. And I doubt he’d throw his team under the bus. I’m sure Monson knew this.

But you’re right…he was acting like a tool.

Note, though, that I agree with you. I’d like to know what the hell is going on with this team and they the offense sucks as badly as they do.

But asking Boylen, after a tough loss, probably isn’t the best – or most professional way – to get the answer we’re all looking for.

Boylen could have...

just given Monson the coach speech answers about not executing or turnovers or whatever though. Those questions are always asked by reporters after a bad loss like that. Especially in a rivalry game.

The girl may not want to hear that her ass is big, but deep down she knows it to be true. The same is the case with the Utes. I’m not asking Boylen to throw his whole scheme under the bus. Just the offensive side of it.

I don't disagree...

Though I’m not sure I’ve ever heard that question asked at all over the years to other coaches.

They are stupid questions all around.

How do you think he felt? lol
