Deseret News sits down with Jim Boylen
Jim Boylen has had a tough year. Not only did his Utes limp to a fourteen-win season, a good chunk of the talent from that squad decided to bail on the program.
It's not an easy situation for Boylen, who just completed his third season at Utah.
Yet he seems upbeat about the future prospects of a program he is struggling to rebuild.
Boylen sat down with the Deseret News to discuss those struggles and what the future holds for Utah basketball. It was a candid interview that offers up an idea of what to expect out of Boylen over the next year (and potentially beyond).
It's a good read and hopefully what he says happens. Boylen is obviously in a must-win situation entering next year. Can he do it?

So...
what’s the deal with Chris Hines? I’ve heard a couple different things on him. That he was gone, and that he isn’t gone yet and may be thinking about staying since there could be more playing time now with Brown and Henderson gone.
I’ve also heard it could depend on whether or not Boylen is able to get a JC PG in here. Have you heard anything? He showed just enough at the end of the year to peak my interest, and it would be nice to kept him if possible.

I've heard what you've heard.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he stayed or went. It’s all really up in the air, I guess.
