Chris Hines will return to Utah
The Mass Exodus of 2010 has been stemmed by one as Chris Hines has announced he will return next season.
This is good news as it brings much needed stability to a program that looked like it was built on sand.
Of course, I'm not quite sure what to make of this. Is Hines returning because he thinks he can start at the point, knowing Utah won't land a JC guard? I hope that isn't the case. I think Hines can be a reliable backup, but I'm not convinced he's starting material.
Regardless, it's nice to have some good news.

2 of which, if rumors and back-room talk is true, were significant problems in the locker room. Degradation of the team aspect of the game.
Pretty much my take is that Boylen has this next year to right the ship, or he’s gone. “Righting the ship” can be said to be AT LEAST a 20 win season. If we have the same level of inconsistency (See Losing to Crappy Teams at Home 101, by Jim Boylen’s 2009-10 Runnin’ Utes) then things do not bode will for coach.

I like it. Bill Guerin’s uppercut is so awesome it wins fights he’s not even in.

I don't know if the wins and losses matter as much as the other stuff.
For instance, if we go 9-7 in the MWC but we win all our home games (and don’t have any “what the hell” losses) then I think Jim stays, even if the overall record is like 18-13.
