Tyler Shreve's scholarship officially revoked.
Probably not a big surprise, since it looked like Shreve was in a great deal of hot water. However, it was made official today as Kyle Whittingham indefinitely suspended him from the team today.
Shreve, of course, is the Redlands quarterback who assaulted a baseball coach at his old high school after being cut from the team. He had been part of Utah's stellar 2010 recruiting class - but now will most likely return to baseball.
Not a surprise move. The right move, but certainly not a surprise.

Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean, I mean plumb, mad dog mean. cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live or win. He was going to go pro in Baseball anyway
Best not to waste a scholaship on him.
If he fades in baseball and gets his head together, the future is always there.
