A&M all but out of P-10 picture, Larry Scott's plane departs Austin for...Kansas City?
As if this thing couldn't have any more drama, Larry Scott's plane is now on its way to Kansas City. Could the Jayhawks or Missouri be the sixteenth member? Or is this just another twist in a long, windy road?
It is interesting to note that Scott's plane has been in Salt Lake twice (once on the 3rd and again last Friday). Is there anything to that? Maybe. But then again, Kansas came late to the party. It's entirely possible their late push has put 'em over the top.
Or we'll get a new story tomorrow suggesting something entirely different.
Crazy , crazy!

Take it for what it is
But apparently there is a way that both Utah and KU both end up in the Pac 1×.

Personally, I hope this is true, this scernario would allow the Pac 1x to expand their terrority to Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas, and Utah rather than Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas, and Kansas/Utah. If I’m correct, SLC and KC are both bigger markets than Stillwater, and they only have a solid football and basketball team. At least Utah has a good football team, and Kansas has a powerhouse basketball team.
R.I.P. Derrick Thomas. The Chiefs and the World have never been the same since your untimely death.
Actually
I would prefer Oklahoma State over Texas Tech, because Tech only offers Texas someone to play from their state and nothing else, but have heard no scernario of TU, OU, OSU, KU, and Utah being the five invited, probably because Texas would start complaining and crying if they did not have one other Texas state school come with them. So far this is the scernario I like the most.

It'd make sense...
Since the P10 has said from the start they don’t want to split markets. And Texas is one market you can split because of its size, while Utah, Oklahoma and Kansas are very similar in population size (Oklahoma is 28, Kansas 33 and Utah 34).
If I had to guess, I think the Utes are in regardless. Too much buzz out here and people I respect and trust are saying it’s about as much of a done deal as you can get. Of course, anything can change and you never know what will happen in the next day or two (let alone week).
But I agree. If I had to choose between Tech and Oklahoma State, I’d go with Oklahoma State in a heart beat.
larry scott's plane has run out of gas.
he needs to get a new lear jet. i hope that does not break any ncaa rules. lol.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Craig Thompson just might end up being a savvy guy. Hell is just a word, the reality is much much worse." Event Horizon". Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean, I mean plumb, mad dog mean. cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live or win. That's just the way it is. "The Outlaw Josey Wales". To protect the sheep you gotta catch the wolf, and it takes a wolf to catch a wolf. "Training Day". Rashad will beat Rua b/c it's a bad matchup for him. 2/1 odds. Josh Koscheck will dethrone Gsp and win the welterweight title. 2.9/1 odds on that too. Peace.
