Question:
Are the buffs joining the PAC next season as well? Are they waiting until the 2012 season? I’ve heard conflicting reports…

The B12 has something in their bylaws that say you need to give two years notice if you’re changing conferences. If you don’t, there is a fine.
So if CU can agree to pay the fine or find loophole in the bylaw, they’ll join next season.
That's weird because
Nebraska is leaving for the Big Ten (12) next season. Guess they’re paying the fine.

There are fines either way (1 or 2 years notice)
You just have to give a bigger percentage of the TV revenue if you only give 1 years notice (but you only pay 1 year, so it’s actually less in total!)
Our AD wants us to leave in 2011 and is working to make it happen. It makes no sense for the Big 12 to want us to stay that extra year with NU leaving anyway, it would totally mess up the scheduling.
I’m very confident we’ll be joining you in 2011, should be fun!

you should definitely change it to UWsux, except you might have to fight for the name with everyone else in the Pac-10!

If there’s a team in the Pac 10 you could say that of, it would be USC. The only people who really and truly despise UW are Oregon fans and some WSU fans. (WSU’s our in-state rival, but the UW-UO rivalry’s nastier; they call it the War Between the States. UW-WSU is the Apple Cup. That probably tells you most of what you need to know about that. :) )
