There is no news in July

The lack of news makes people desperate.

Here is an interesting old article. I didn’t know the U was getting a $950,000 payout to play Notre Dame.

we get a win and almost 1 million dollars. yippee! if it's true.

I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. I still will always follow the Mountain West Conference. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez and face the winner of Junior Dos Santos vs Roy Nelson where he will defeat JDS and stake his claim as pound for pound champion. Womens MMA, the next big thing in sports. 50 days and counting to the first game of college football. UTAH vs Pitt. September 2nd 2010.

The Notre Dame Page said this about us

Rakes of Mallow article

…September, the home games against Pitt and Utah and the trips to Troy and Chestnut Hill. It’s a schedule a good team would have no trouble reaching double digit wins against…

I just read that section again

maybe they are saying that they are hoping for 10 or more wins in the season. Not double digit wins against Utah and Pitt. They did say this…

the games fall under the category of "Very winnable, but certainly very losable as well,

notre dame will not win 10 games. i guarantee that.

once their qb chist fails (he had major reconstructed knee surgery) spread offense too. it falls all on joe montana’s son’s shoulders.

Yeah, your second interpretation is correct

All I’m saying is that there aren’t a lot of games on Notre Dame’s schedule that they have no chance in, but plenty that they can lose (the Utah game most certainly included). Was not implying that there would be 10+ margins of victory against Pitt and Utah, probably could have cleaned that up.

Agreed

You guys have the talent and coaching (finally) to have a terrific season. This could also be another extremely frustrating year for you guys (like 8-4) although—I think Kelly will improve his team whereas Weis just made them fall apart at the wrong time. Kelly is a competitor, intense—he’s what you guys needed.

Best of luck Irish, see you in November, don’t be a stranger!

have to be more then a good team to win all of those

Pitt will be in the top 25 in the preseason where Utah will be close and possibly in the top 25 come November. BC is always an above average ACC team, and USC will still be in the top 3rd in the Pac-10.

As long as Cam Cameron is coaching the NFL, John Beck will have a job.

as long as we continue taking random shots at BYU outside of game time

the longer we are making them relevant . . . isn’t there something else we can discuss?

by jazzed on Jul 16, 2010 11:13 AM MDT reply actions

Cause it's July...

And I’m saving much of the 2010 discussion and previews for August.

To be fair, this is my first post on BYU in a long, long time!
