utah is getting alot of publicity since it accepted the invitation to the pac-10.
most of it favorable. i must admit i did not know about all the success houston had in the old swc.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. I still will always follow the Mountain West Conference. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez and face the winner of Junior Dos Santos vs Roy Nelson where he will defeat JDS and stake his claim as pound for pound champion.

Hopeful!
Good read. Like every other article we will see over the next year. Alot of predictions but unfortunately we have to wait another year to find out. I guess I have waited this long. What’s another 13 months.
With Wynn a Junior and hopefully healthy I think he will do just fine. Our running game and receivers will be stellar and hopefully our young defense matures by then. Not too concerned about offense. However, I know Coach Whit will do just fine getting everyone prepared.
Wishful thinking asking for an undefeated 2010 season and national title game?
This upcoming season will be exciting due to the schedule which (in my opinion) is worthy of a BCS birth and possible title game aspirations (if the Utes kill all their opponents by 21+ pts or more). That would be a stretch to accomplish especially with 2/3 of the defense players being new. Also, MWC teams will be gunning to beat Utah because of their final season in the MWC, another hurdle/storm Utah must prepare for and overcome. I believe the roster is filled with winners, ambitious players whose only goal in life is to win and take the team to another post season BCS game. Like I said, tall order for a team with some experience but lots of athletic talent coming out of the wood work.
I am excited to see the Utes 2010 team, especially with newcomers like Lucky Radley, Terrell Reese, Kenneth Scott, Griffin McNabb, Martavious Lee, Reggie Dunn, Damien Payne, to name a few. This bunch brings immediate talent and athleticism! Fall camp and 2010 season can’t come fast enough.
awesome
nice to see wynn and the utes getting some publicity
While I have no idea how Utah will fair personnel-wise come the merger, I can say that Oregon and Oregon State look to be rebuilding, while maybe Cal, UCLA, UW, Arizona, and Stanford could have something going (that’s the kind of parity you can expect in the P10, never know who’s going to be good one year and down the next).
That parity
is one of the things I’m really looking forward too — and something that has always been intriguing about the P10. Especially since USC has been dropped from off their high-horse.
2010 should be a pretty good year.
I’m expecting 9-3 or 10-2. If we go 2-2 against ND, Pitt, TCU and BYU and don’t lose any games to the other MWC teams I’ll be happy. Actually, I really need a win over BYU this year, so 1-2 against ND-Pitt-TCU but a win over BYU and I’ll be happy. Anything above that is gravy.
As for 2011, I’d love to see that team in the national title game. That will be a very very good Utah team (better than 2008 if Wynn keeps improving). Might depend on what we do with the schedule. If we have 4 OOC games we’ll need to cut BYU/Boise or Pitt because we’ll have too many road games. If we have 3 OOC games we’ll still need to cut one of them and we might need to cut two depending on our PAC 10 schedule. Hopefully we have answers to these questions before this season starts (i.e. divisions and number of conference games)
