The Morning Blitz: Daily Utah links
So it appears the offense bounced back after struggling much of Monday. This was to be expected, though, as the offense is too experienced to be having a slew of issues in camp.
Today marks the first two-a-day for the Utes, as they've wrapped up the acclimatization period. They'll also have a scrimmage tomorrow, though it's closed to the public.
Beyond that, the preseason hype machine is revving up. Sports Illustrated releases its preview today and the Utes are ranked 22nd, presumably behind TCU. The writeup about the Utes heavily revolves around the offense and why they should be a threat to TCU and other top-notch programs (Pitt) this season - especially with their stellar lineup in the backfield.
Thursday marks three weeks until the season begins.
It's almost here.

Jazzy.......
Your the man, I think I check for updates to this site more than I check patients at work. Keep it up!
What do you all make of the two 4 star freshmen wr Whitt landed? Reese and Scott I believe should we be watching for either or both of them to make an impact this year?
Both are tall and skilled
Really looking forward to these guys the next few years being productive. Then we have Nate Fakahafua joining next year who is about 6’3" to 6’4" and can play.
They also picked up the walk on, Griff McNabb, who is short and speedy as hell and I love that they have different looks and abilities to rotate into the lineup.
As worried as I am about our WRs, I am looking forward ot seeing how our tight ends produce. I don’t think the Utes have ever had as much talent at tight end.
I like how sports illustrated has us at #22 in the nation.
It looks like we found another rb too. defenses won’t know what to do with us. you can’t stack the box against us b/c wynn and the wr’s will run slants all day and when they have only 3 or 4 guys rushing the passer we can run on any program. Coach whitt is going to call the offensive plays this year? if not their better be somebody who knows when to throw them and then know when to run them.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez. Womens MMA, the next big thing in sports. 24 days till the first game of college football. UTAH vs Pitt. September 2nd 2010.
