The Salt Lake Tribune has an article up on the development via e-mail of BYU's supposed move to the Western Athletic Conference in all sports but football.
It's an interesting read about the quick rise of Utah State University President Stan Albrecht's plan and the rapid fall when both the University of Nevada and Fresno St. bolted for the Mountain West.
Though the e-mails themselves were never published by the Tribune, Block U has uncovered the original e-mail sent to Karl Benson from Stan Albrecht.
It provides insight into the validity and stability of the deal.
