FOOTBALL! PRACTICE! YAY!
Fall camp officially kicked off today for the University of Utah - proving football is just around the corner.
Thank God!
I've been dying these last few months without any real football news (you know, outside of that whole Pac-10 thing).
No more, though, as we're less than a month from the season.
The Utes held a two-hour practice today and by all accounts, it went well.
"It was mostly a teaching day," said head coach Kyle Whittingham. "We did a lot of install, in terms of schemes, on both offense and defense. It was a good first day," he added.
The coaches got their first look at 14 members of the most recent signing class, and Whittingham cited wide receiver Reggie Dunn ("he is really, really fast"), running back Lucky Radley and defensive end Joe Kruger as three who stood out.
Whittingham was particularly pleased with the passing drills, saying that "the quarterbacks and receivers did a nice job of pitch and catch." At the conclusion of practice, starting quarterback Jordan Wynn was in high demand with the large media gathering, which also interviewed a dozen of his teammates.
You can view photos from the practice here.
Seriously, how jacked are you? I'm ragin' like Gary Busey!
UTAH! FOOTBALL! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH! I WILL EAT YOUR TABLE!

Every year I get excited for the start of camp
and every year, I realize how foolish it is to build expectations based on the observations of others.
Could we be great this year? Sure. But you can write this article and change the names and numbers for every program in the nation.

I refer to the linked utahutes.com article, not yours, Jazzman.
SLGT - Let's Go Blues!
No, I agree...
But it’s FOOTBALL!
Yeah. No coach is going to start camp by saying their team was the suckiest bunch of sucks who ever sucked.
