Utah moves up to 13th in both polls
After a dominant win against the New Mexico Lobos, Utah has moved up a spot in both polls to 13th.
I'm surprised. I thought for sure LSU, Arizona and Auburn would pass Utah.
The fact none did, really shows how much our program is being respected right now. Cause no one respects a win over New Mexico.
Keep it up this week and we might move into the top-ten.

No one jumped us...
LSU was already in front of us in the USA today poll. Both Arizona and Auburn are still behind us in both polls.
Yeah. I actually JUST fixed that as you posted...
I realized LSU was jumped by Arkansas, who gave us their spot. I forgot LSU was ahead of us in the Coaches.
No problem,
I looked over the list like 5 times trying to figure out who jumped us or how… ;) Let’s go TOP 10 baby!
Great
Terrific win, and I am happy about even moving up 1 spot. The Utes need to stop turning over the football. Love the Utes!

On a completely different topic!!
Has anyone seen the new PAC 10 commercials they are playing during their games. At first I had to rewind it to make sure I saw it correctly. As the commercials flash through different pictures of players from the schools, one of the pictures was Paul Kruger holding his arm up. However, it was followed up by another one of Cain getting torched by a Duck lineman from last years game. I am sure that was their way of just getting a little humor into it and reminding us we aren’t in just yet.
Pretty cool to start seeing us starting to appear as part of the PAC!
13th is getting into some rarified air
Good to see the Utes in the 13th spot. I think voters are realizing that Utah is one of the few teams that has a complete team (well except for blocked punts). Alot of the teams in the top 25 have serious flaws (LSU and South Carolina have no offense etc).

remeber bama has arkansas then i think florida. i hope bama demolishes them. which they probably will
they are by far the best team in the weaker sec this year. utah will move into top ten when they beat iowa state.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez. The most hated and misunderstood person on the MMA blogs.. Utah and Boise take care of business in week one. Don't be surprised if they both go undefeated.

Big Bama fans this week!

too bad
you won’t be beating up on the Lobos anymore!!! Instead you’ll be playing a higher quality team week in and week out, which is what you wanted and is good for your program. It’s going to be a lot tougher to get to 8 or 9 wins going through your new conference.
Tougher, but we'll keep doing it.

Agreed
It will be tougher. But who cares? I don’t need a billion wins, I need to see Utah associating with those schools athletically and academically.
I certainly hope that Wyoming is on our schedule often, I love the pokes and for a few decades we were pretty evenly matched teams and the series was a lot of fun!

We'll get a billion-plus one wins!
It’ll be nice knowing your season doesn’t automatically end with a loss.
Plus, I bet we’ll be able to get bigger named opponents to trip to Salt Lake City now because it’s always easier losing to a BCS team on the road than a non-BCS one.
Yes
Can you imagine having Big Ten teams travel out there? Maybe someone form teh SEC (if they can find a map that has the nation outside of the South on it).
Could be a modest economic coup for the town.
