4-star receiver Anthony Denham commits to Utah
Anthony Denham, a 4-star wide receiver from East Los Angeles College in Califoria, has chosen the Utes, the Orlando Sentinel is reporting.
Denham held offers from LSU, Ole Miss, Oregon, Arkansas, Georgia, Nebraska and Washington, but chose Utah because he wanted to play out of state, yet still remain close to home.
Regardless of his reasons, this is a pretty big get for Utah and shows just how much the Pac-12 move has helped change the recruiting landscape for the program.
Expect more commits in the next 24 to 48 hours, since Wednesday marks Signing Day.

Utah is one of the top 2 academic schools in the conference?
seriously guys, who are we kidding? since when are utah kids getting jobs over stanford or cal students? Arizona St. and Oregon St. maybe… Welcome Anthony, you are joining a great team and a wonderful academic institution (top 8 in the conference)! Best of luck out there next year.
Stanford, Cal, UCLA, $c, then...
Maybe Utah could be argued at 5 (at best). Regardless, I love the get. The start of good things to come!

This is a great pick up. However, SLTrib is reporting this morning that Pomee is going to USC. That means there is a good chance we are now losing Henderson who has said that he wants to play with Pomee. Any word on that QB commit from ASU?
Unfortunately, we might lose all three...
It’s the recruiting life. More evidence we’ve yet to make as strong of footing on the recruiting front as we should in the coming years.
With that said, a Tweet today suggests 4-star OL/TE Andrew Peterson will sign with the Utes.
It’s down to Arkansas & Utah, with Arkansas.
So don’t be surprised if there are some surprises along the way.
