Come on over to ATQ in the week leading up to Washington State and you’ll think we’re about to play LSU again. We fretted and worried and worked ourselves into a PANIC!!!! about Arizona. We were practically committing suicide when Cal…Cal’d us again in the first half last Thursday. So, yes, I’m nervous. but he played one less game than Graham entering this weekend. Graham had more total yards. So it was a misleading stat, but possibly accurate.

I haven’t heard that confirmed, though…I don’t always trust ESPN’s fact-checking, especially if it gets in the way of hyping the current game they are broadcasting.
The D is great. I have never questioned them.
The D can’t win vs. any team worth their salt when the offense can’t score in the red-zone, and between the O & ST, you spot your opponent 14+ points.

Cal has been a huge ? for a few years now.
When you least expect it, they uncork an ass-whuppin’ on someone. Or they play well for 2 weeks then don’t show up the next week. I’m not saying you can’t beat ‘em, just that you can’t trust them to “be who you thought they were” from week to week.

Thoughts on the game...
1- I don’t care how ugly the game was… GREAT win…
2- The announcers kept talking about how off Pitt’s offense was… I say, Utah’s defense is just that good… The offense killed them against UW and ASU…
3- DAMN YOU JOHN CULLEN… YOU BLOW!!! I had to take my daughter to swimming lessons this morning and DVR’d after the first quarter. When I got home and rushed through the game, my DVR stopped recording right after the redzone cluster f**k and Cullen’s awesome personal foul… Amidst the scramble to see if the game was still going, in the back of my mind I was thinking… Critical moment… Had a chance to score… Yep, Cullen on cue…
4- Our defense is just that good.
5- If Hays plays smart football, our defense will get us to a bowl game.
6- The offense needed an IV and the got it… Great job JWIV…
