Go Utes? No, seriously, I may not know who 90% of who these guys are, but I’m still ready for the fresh start. I trust Coach K and expect the next few years to be “rebuilding years” (yeah, I hate the expression, too), but it is what it is. GO UTES!

I was there and I could not believe my eyes…The Utes were moving on offense (gasp)!
Seriously though, it’s hard to tell how good or bad they will be. But I tell you what, watch out for Cedric Martin, he might be our star. He told me after that he’s never had support like tonight playing ball. Dude, there were only a couple thousand there. Hopefully we fill that place up in the next couple of years for him. I told him it looks like he might be our star and he said “I just want to win.”
Odunsi is right there with Martin as far as potential, but he’s just a true freshman – he may need a little more time. Jiggy is looking leaner and faster and the ball is moving through Foster and Washburn more. Oh yeah, and Foster is a shot blocking machine!
Wilkinson is the home grown kid we’ve needed on the team the last few years. He’s good enough to see SOME time on the floor and physical enough to provide a spark. Storey is going to back up Jiggy just fine, he’s a really good ball handler and looks to not turn the ball over. He could be a really good point guard in the next couple of years.
Matthews and Hines were shooting the lights out tonight. Dawson is big and physical…could be a beast if he finishes better than he did tonight. Farr looks like a ball hawk, if he was a better shooter he’d be a stud. But he got his hands on a lot of balls tonight rebounding and defensively.
Those are the guys that caught my attention tonight and I have to say, I’m pretty excited. Of course, my evals are just from tonight and I’m not a talent scout. So really, I may be completely in left field with all of this.
I'm excited to see what they do...
No one is expecting anything. They’ll be picked to finish last in the Pac-12 and I bet most think this team doesn’t win more than 10 games (if that).

Season tickets are $100
In the upper bowl. I just got two yesterday and went to the Red and White scrimmage. Looking forward to the season… even if it’s a total rebuilding year. We are projected to finish #12 in the projections I read today, so it’s not like we can disappoint.
If it was like last year, you'll be able to move down to about the 15th row, center court by halftime.
My brother-in-law got me center court tickets, row 5, for the Boise St. game. I was shocked with how empty the Huntsman Center was. Good game though…relatively speaking…I mean we won, even though it was ugly.

I like the new Under Armour jerseys much more than last year's

Me too.
I am so glad that Under Armour is now the official outfitter for Utah Athletics. It was so second rate for different sports to be sponsored by different suppliers. Every major university’s athletic department has a sole outfitter for all of their sports, not just some of them.
However....
I am interested in seeing our home uniforms. I hope that they kept the “Runnin’ Utes” name on the home jerseys. That’s pretty cool if I say so. I do like that they have returned to simply having “Utah” on the road unis, however. Having all of “Utah Runnin’ Utes” seemed a bit over the top for me.
