Playing at Rice Eccles Stadium SHOULD mean a huge advantage for the Utes. I know that they have managed to muff their last two outings, but still Ute Fans need to show up and create the buzz that our team needs, now more than ever. I hear lots of people talking about next year and how they have uncommitted to the football team, but THAT'S A BUNCH OF HORSE SH-T!!!!!! That's the kind of crap that the Fence-Sitter fans do. I hate the band wagon fans that claim Utah when TTDS is losing. I wish that they would follow TTDS all the time so people wouldn't MISTAKE them, for real Utah fans.
Anyway, I'm calling out everybody who has lost faith, and challenging you to actually watch John Hays play. He has the physical tools of a winning QB. He has everything but experience and confidence, including the desire to succeed and he has shown glimpses at times that he is more than capable of driving the football. Stand behind John Hays, he needs to get some confidence and we as fans need to believe he can achieve his potential.
This is still the same team that we all love, SO ACT LIKE IT!!!! Come out to Rice Eccles on Saturday, Get Loud, Be Excited, and Get Rowdy! Show Larry Scott and the rest of the PAC 12 that "these colors don't run". We in Utah never give up and will never surrender to anything or anybody. We didn't just hand the Sugar Bowl to Bama because everybody told us we were out matched. Utah has built a proud heritage, and a NEVER SAY DIE culture. We need to restore the Home Crowd Advantage to Rice Eccles right now. I know The MUSS will show up, so what about the rest of the 40,000 seats?
I know our Defense will feed off the crowd when they get things going. The Offensive Line has something to prove. My grandfather taught me a lesson when I was younger with a story, "Fighters are always going to get hit, they are always going to get knocked down. The great ones though, those are the ones who get back up even angrier and turn the tide of the fight and never give up until they win". So like a great fighter I expect that our Utes will get back up and keep working until they win.
Lets go Ute Nation, Lets use our voices to cheer our team and lift them up off the canvas(turf) and know that they'll come up swinging.
