Yeah this is a bit much.
I actually really like Hays’ attitude and the kid has heart that you can’t coach. Unfortunately I am not wild about his arm or ability to read a defense.
We've got this one guys...
While I’m not 100% confident…I like our chances tonight.
First, our D is still very good. I know it’s hard to remember that when you look at what happened vs. UW, ASU, Cal…but look at what Pitt did this week, & without Ray Graham. Look at USC. I think the D comes out fired up & stifles OrSt.
Second, Oregon St. hasn’t been particularly strong at run D…or overall defense for that matter. I think we’ll establish the run, which will allow Hays to just play ball control offense…which is what we did against Pitt.
Third, Christopher is back. Perhaps we’ve forgotten what a huge part of the offense he is, but without him, Dunn is the only WR who isn’t a freshman. We need him to open up the passing lanes & I think he will break off a big play today.
Fourth, Oregon St. isn’t ranked very high in the Sagarin rankings. While they have been playing better as of late, we haven’t lost to a team rated lower than 45 & I believe Oregon St. is ranked 103 currently.
I like to think I’m a realist. I wasn’t confident in us winning any game up until now…but I have a good feeling today. Let’s get on track Utah!
