ASU is good for something: Simpsons jokes!

TUCSON AZ - DECEMBER 02: Kicker Thomas Weber #26 of the Arizona State Sun Devils is congratulated by teammates after kicking a 36 yard field goal against the Arizona Wildcats during the second quarter of the college football game at Arizona Stadium on December 2 2010 in Tucson Arizona. With news that the longest-running American sitcom could be coming to an end soon due to contract disputes, I thought it was a perfectly appropriate time to look back on this classic gem from the episode Mom and Pop Art. In the episode, Homer floods Springfield in a grandiose act of artistic display, leading to this comment by Ned Flanders:

ZING!

Of course, that wasn't the only time The Simpsons took a shot at Utah's next opponent. This one's from last season's episode, The Scorpion's Tale:

Ah, ASU, we kid because we love.

Dolphins and sharks are natural enemies. Dolphins are like, "Quit eating us," and sharks are like, "Stop smiling all the time, you morons."

U of A

Hey Jazzy Ute, you obviously have too much time on your hand, but your stuff is funny. Just want to point out that it is obvious that the writer for the Simpsons went to U of A.

ASU females are not robots

Back in the day, I took an official visit to ASU when I was looking at schools. The women walking around campus were AMAZING. That alone, made me want to attend the school. It was like all of these extremely attractive women from So Cal and AZ that didn’t want to be burdened with winter clothing or jackets. Ever. I could get used to a variation of one season, hot and hotter. Just like the females.

When I went into the Walter Cronkite school of Broadcasting the attractive quotient increased due to all of the aspiring anchorwomen trying to get their face on camera.

I was paying for school myself and ultimately decided I didn’t want to pay out of state tuition or wait another year to begin. I’m happy to be a Ute… but in this instance, I question the decision to stay at the quiet commuter campus.

UF Was Similar

Campus around Spring Break time was . . . interesting.

If anyone found my snowboarding gloves after storming the field following the 2004 TDS game, I want them back!
