Here's an interesting but demeaning post. For me the post is enough to start the rivalry. It always amazes me how ignorant fans of the AQ conferences truly lack the capacity to have even taken a hard look at teams from non AQ conferences to see how they just might compare.

Of course non AQ teams don't have championships the friggin odds are so far stacked against them to even see if they can compete or beat the "Number 1" BCS team. Utes have been screwed more than once in that raw deal as well as TCU, Boise State, and do I dare say Houston this year?

What surprises me is the recent MWC had 3 top teams and certainly 3 additional teams always competitive. But a lack of true knowledge of AQ team fans about non AQ teams converts to ignorance. Five weeks ago Utah was getting dissd with notes saying "see they can't compete week in and week out in an AQ conference". Win 5 in a row with a juco back up QB and what do we get? Nothing except "the PAC-12 South is weak".

Deep down inside AQ fans need the non AQ conferences on the wall to make them all sleep better at night. We don't want any AQ admiration, but how about a little friggin RESPECT. You want the Utes in the P12CG and the Alamo Bowl? Sure Danny we'll come, but you have to ask us nicely.
