And the game was getting out of hand even before we turned it over.
So we’ll need to do more than just not turn it over. An offense that can get something through the air would help a great deal. If Hays throws for more than 250 yards, Utah wins.

Do you honestly see Hays throwing for 250? Their defense is suspect and Utah really could win this IF our defense shows up big. Foles is great and the d has to shut him down. If that happens, the U will be lit tonight.

Maybe a little less than 250, but if he’s throwing for 200 or less, unless White just tears it up again, I think it’s going to be hard to win.
I think it's more about total offense...
I don’t think we win if it’s a shootout…and 350 yards of total offense (250 passing, 100 rushing) seems to indicate that’s what you’re thinking.
The passing game just needs to keep their D honest…and that could happen with as little as 100-150 yards.
To me, this game is all about time of possession (which keeps our D fresh) & winning the TO battle. I think our front 7 are going to pressure Foles into some mistakes, & if we get White his 100+ yards & we win this game.
Hopefully...
I think it could happen, obviously, but I’d feel a lot better if we’re closing in on 200 passing yards tonight.

Hays throws 0 INT’s and has 0 fumbles…
IV goes for 450 yards and 6 TD’s… Though I suppose I’ll settle for half of that…
Here’s what I think…
AZ’s defense is not as good as Cal’s… I also think AZ’s o-line is suspect… If we win the game, it’s because the d-line got great pressure with only 4-5 guys going after Foles and Conroy Black learned how to cover over this last week…
Jon Hays doesn’t need to go for 250, but I think anything less than 200 and we’re in trouble.
IV needs to get 30 touches… MINIMUM…
May the boys in red role forth… May the hogs in the trenches do what they have practiced and succeed… May Lotulelei (sp?) shove the center and which ever guard is helping double him right into Foles freaking ugly Arizona face… May the wolfman go beast mode on that Arizona defense and please, oh please let Jon Hays not F*** this up…

The game will also be televised on FCSC.
Hays needs to get about 200 yards and 1 or less Turnovers.
White needs to be White. Utah’s D needs to be Utah’s D. Causing 2-3 turnovers would help too.
I really hate depending on Hays, but sometimes it just comes down to how well your QB plays.

I'm due for an upgrade...
And will go one of two ways… Either go all out and get an iPhone 4s for both my wife and I, or scrap the smartphones and go back to basic phone/text. I have a Blackberry right now (unlimited data).
As far as looking into it, my research and knowledge is very superficial.
So, my main questions are how much more expensive is it service wise to have 2 iPhones, compared to the Blackberry. Also, what counts as using data? Ex. checking facebook from the facebook app? I’m assuming yes. On the family unlimited text, is it a flat $30 or $30/ line? Same for the GB of data. For 2 GB is it $30 for the plan, and 2 GB shared for the plan, or 2 GB for the phone, or is it $30/ line and 2 GB per plane or line.
Most importantly, have people liked the phone? Everyone I know with one has AT&T and loves it, but I want to know what it’s like with verizon…

From what I’ve heard everyone who has it loves it. It’s a great phone and you’ll keep your unlimited data. The 2gb will be for her phone only and data is using anything that’s not talk or text (easiest way to explain it really). It is 29.99 for your line and 30 for hers and the 30 extra for unlimited text will be for both of you.

Corners and Hays
This game is up to our young secondary and replacement QB. I’m not too optimistic. Foles won’t have much time to pass but the CB’s have to limit yards after the catch-wrap up and no high hits. If Hays can get 200yds and 2 TD’s then he’s allowed one turnover. We also need at least one big return on special teams.
Thoughts...
Conroy blows… He cannot track a ball and cannot tackle… I’m thinking Mo Lee will surprise and Lacy is a small ball of smack receivers in the mouth energy… Hopefully that is enough…
Foles shouldn’t have much time to pass, and this should help the young secondary…
I doubt Hays gets 200 yards or 2 TD’s. It really sucks because it’s limiting our receivers.
As far as big returns, all I have to say is… Damn you Charles Henderson… Damn you…

Hays is much better at the play-action fake than Wynn.
That is one thing I will give him credit for. He sold that play action extremely well.
that is one big weakness for Wynn
with some teams, the fake is good enough to fool the cameraman. Just about never happens with Wynn. (I like him as a QB tho)

Hays fooled the camermen on that touchdown. Wynn pulls the ball away a yard away from the running back. No one thinks it’s a run play.
But Wynn is otherwise, a better quarterback.

Well I think he should’ve carried twice on 2nd and 3 and then the play after prior to our missed FG, but the fact we’re passing means the run might be there more in the 2nd half than it was against Oregon State.
Maybe they’re trying to give those points to Alabama. ESPN is a joke, can’t get a west coast score right.

They’re better than their record…beating ASU right now…and will have the Pac-12 South on the line.
ASU has a history of choking

That's what happens when you lose your QB...
All that time adjusting to Wynn in camp and the first half of the season was lost when he went down. We really did start from scratch, even if Hays took snaps in fall camp.
The only game I feel good about from here on out is WSU.
Because Utah can definitely beat teams with cat mascots. Also rodents. Not so good against Bears, so the Bruins are looking scary. No idea what to expect against buffaloes.
