Something interesting to watch.

All Utah fans remember and love Robert Johnson. Ever since that UCLA game is freshmen year. We all remember watching has he constantly made plays (Remember the fumble recovery/lateral on the sideline in '09), always seemed to be around the ball, and was just an all around monster.

We also remember watching as he basically went unnoticed by national media because he played for Utah and not in a major conference, despite the fact that he was clearly one of the best safeties in the nation. Remember thinking, if only he got as much publicity, imagine the hype around him.

Well, we may get our what if after all. Eric Rowe, reminds me a lot of Robert Johnson in the way he seems to always be around the ball, and always seems to be making plays. And being in the Pac-12 seems to be paying off for his publicity as he was named the defensive freshman of the year by Ted Miller.

If Rowe continues on the path his freshman season showed, it will be interesting to see just how much of a difference in publicity the Pac-12 brings a great player compared to RoJo's career.
