The Deseret News released this year's All-State football teams..the complete list can be found here. I only included the 5A list because that is where our commits come from.

Chase Hansen-you can read Jazzy's story on him on the main page (why am I saying that? if you are reading this, you have already seen the main page..........)

First team:

Hunter Dimick: Syracuse, DE

Second team:

Moses Folauhola: Hunter, DL

Austin Lee: Alta, DB

Nothing, Absolutely nothing......stupid.........you're so stupid! (can anyone name that movie?)

Zach Lindsay: Davis, OL

Nua Poteki: Brighton, OL

I have seen both of these Oline commits play in person this year and they look like roster fill to me. Would have liked to see a few more of our guys make first team, but it is what it is. A lot of times, these lists are based more on where the team ended up as opposed to the individual field performance.

I think we are still in the running for Jared Afalava as well as Brandon Fanaika? Does anyone know? (I don't pay for those rivals or scout Ute pages.......it's money for a lot of speculation and rumor.)
