Utes Sign 4 Star Juco RB

John White worked out so well, why not go back to that well. Today is the first day for Junior College players to be able to sign their Letters of Intent, and the Utes have got one. Kelvin York, a 4 star Junior College Runningback from Fullerton CC signed his letter of intent to play for the Utes. York was a USC recruit, but injury issues to his knee caused him to de-commit. He had been considered the best Juco RB in the state of CA, and according to Rivals, the best Juco RB period, and the 8th best Juco recruit.

I don't know his redshirt status, but if his knee is an issue, I'm assuming he'll probably red shirt this season, before being in the mix to replace Blanco next season. If his knee is fine, he'll be some added depth to help lighten Blanco's load.

Either way this looks like it might be some decent insurance in case Langi is unable to shake off the Freshmen struggles that made him downright dreadful this season.

This is a nice takeaway from the Men of Troy, as well as from U-Dub who was also high on his list. If I'm not mistaken this is also the first signed, sealed, and delivered recruit of 2012.
