Things to look forward to next season

First off, I'm looking forward to NOT seeing Josh Gordon. Why we even signed that train-wreck is beyond me but I'm glad he and his reefer drama won't be around. Says a lot about a guy who would ruin his chance for big-time college ball and be content to play at some division II school out in the sticks.

The offensive line will be much improved next season after Tim Davis has had a full off season to train the linemen and bring in some of his own hogs. I thought Jeremiah Tofaeono looked good in the game today. Bot will be better than either Cullen or Bergstrom at tackle. The other tackle position is a big question mark.

Runningback will be a big strength next year. I think Harvey Langi will surprise and be a significant factor next season. York will redshirt.

Anthony Denham and Charles Henderson will be back next season to strengthen an already solid group of wide receivers. Hopefully Ken Scott will continue to recover from his ankle injury and regain some speed which he lost.

The QB position will continue to be the weak point of the offense. Passing on Dayne Crist was extremely disappointing and was a big missed opportunity.

The defensive line may not be as good next season as it was this season, I don't see anyone who can immediately replace Shelby. Fakafahua may be a force by the end of next season, he definitely has good football instincts.

The linebacker position will be more athletic without Chaz Walker in there. I'm hoping Victor Spikes finally gets a shot.

I thought we may really miss Conroy Black next season until he just stopped running and watched a pass float right over his head for a TD in today's game. That nearly lost the game for us. Hey Conroy, was that pass as beautiful up close in person as it was on television? Chandler Johnson will be a starting CB next season and I think he'll be better than Black. Mo Lee will continue to get better. I'm looking forward to see an improved secondary, I think Blechen and Rowe remain as starters.

The whole deal could hinge on who we get as offensive coordinator. Juan Blanco is exponentially better following a lead blocker. Max Moala has the physical tools to be the next Shawn Asiata, hopefully we use him.
