It looks like networks trying to land more live sports are now left with only 1 option.  The NHL Today signed a 2 Billion Dollar TV Contract

The unfortunate thing is had Comcast lost out on the NHL, they would have been desperate for live sports and maybe have had an go for broke mentality to land the Pac-12.

However, we all are coming off of a Comcast controlled TV Contract, and we all know how that went, as far as quality, etc.

Besides, I'm a huge Hockey fan, but if the NHL can land 2 billion over 10 years, I've got to think that the Pac-12 can get some of those crazy numbers that have been bandied about lately.
